COBA and ETEC Launch Capital Workforce Program 2026 in Partnership with North Central Connecticut Workforce Development Partners

Charter Oak Boxing Academy (COBA), in partnership with Elite Tertiary Education Consulting (ETEC), is proud to announce the launch of the Capital Workforce Program 2026, a collaborative initiative designed to connect youth and community members with meaningful career pathways and workforce opportunities.

The program kickoff will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, as COBA collaborates with North Central Connecticut Workforce Development Partners to introduce participants to career focused training, mentorship, and paid work experiences.

Event Features

The Capital Workforce Program 2026 is designed to support individuals as they prepare for success in today’s job market. Through this program, participants will gain access to one on one mentoring, financial literacy training, hands on skill development, paid work experiences, and labor market insights that help inform long term career decisions.

A core focus of the program is exposure to high demand career fields, including construction, information technology, manufacturing, healthcare, social services, and business services. These industries offer sustainable employment opportunities and clear advancement pathways for individuals seeking stability and growth.

Commitment to Youth

COBA and ETEC share a commitment to whole person development. While COBA’s foundation is rooted in discipline, structure, and personal growth through boxing, programs like Capital Workforce 2026 ensure participants are also prepared academically, professionally, and financially for life beyond sports.

By partnering with workforce development leaders in North Central Connecticut, COBA and ETEC are bringing essential resources directly to the community and creating bridges between talent, training, and opportunity.

The Capital Workforce Program 2026 reflects a shared belief that access, preparation, and mentorship are key drivers of economic mobility and long term success.
