COBA to Celebrate Its 2025 Graduates and Champions of Community

Mark your calendars! On Wednesday, June 18th, 2025, at 5:30 PM, COBA is hosting one of our most heartfelt events of the year: the End of Year Graduation, Celebration, and Recognition Day. Held at our home base—81 Pope Park Highway in Hartford—this evening promises pride, joy, and reflection on an incredible year of growth.

Honoring Our Youth

This celebration will spotlight the achievements of:

  • COBA High School Graduates, who balanced academics, athletics, and personal development to cross the finish line.

  • Vocational Program Graduates, who completed job-readiness and trade-skills training designed to build long-term career paths.

  • Students Entering the Workforce, securing summer jobs that mark their first major step toward independence and responsibility.

We’ll hear directly from students about their journeys—and where they’re headed next.

Lifting Up Our Leaders

This event is also a time to show gratitude. Community leaders and partner organizations who have walked beside us—providing resources, mentorship, and belief—will be formally recognized. Their support has helped our students soar and has fueled the mission of COBA throughout 2025.

“It takes a village,” said Pamela Floyd-Cranford, Director of Higher Learning. “And this event is how we celebrate our village—youth, families, mentors, and leaders alike.”
